Our Caregivers

It takes someone truly unique to become a caregiver. Our dedicated staff are well trained to represent the values of integrity, loyalty, honor and empathy. We make every effort to match their qualification, interests, and unique characteristics with your needs. Our enthusiastic team of caregivers are backed by experience, education and training. As a healthcare provider, we not only consider it an honor but it is our duty to ensure that the staff we hire share our care philosophy and have trustworthy backgrounds. This is an assurance of the safety and well-being of individuals under our care. All our caregivers are required to undergo a comprehensive and rigorous background screening process giving you the assurance to trust a caregiver in your home. Rosy Homehealth, LLC is a strictly drug free and alcohol free workplace. It is our conviction that you deserve the utmost kindness, safety and security.

Each of our caregivers must pass a rigorous process of background screening that far exceeds the state regulatory requirements and is the most comprehensive in the industry. This process involves:

  • a national and state specific criminal background check
  • a national sex offender data base search
  • motor vehicle screening to search for moving violations disqualifying a caregiver from driving a client
  • terrorist watch list screening
  • wanted person watch list
  • national sanction check to scan for inappropriate behaviors
  • license and certification authentication
  • initial testing and on-going monitoring for drug and alcohol use
  • health and communicable disease screening and monitoring
  • competency testing in both return demonstration and formal examination

All of our caregivers participate in a comprehensive orientation and training program before they can provide services to any of our clients/individuals. Additionally, each year, each caregiver participates in a minimum of 15 hours of continuing education and training. We have put together professionally produced educational programs for our caregivers to keep them abreast of the most current and relevant healthcare trends and perspectives. We routinely modify these programs in order to keep our educational materials fresh and current.

Clients and families are encouraged to participate in caregiver supervision by using a rating system that feeds into the overall evaluation of caregivers.

Beyond that, we insist that all caregivers hired must be caring, loving and empathetic. They must love giving care because they make a difference in people’s lives every day. The stories we hear from caregivers of love, hope and determination makes coming to work a real pleasure. Caregiving is not a job, it is a calling and our staff must exemplify that concept every day.
